Heavy rains fell on much of the southeast and raised the water levels considerably around Chattanooga. The TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) opened all the floodgates on the dam which caused lots of turbulence and roaring rapids below it. The massive flow of water was something to behold. Chickamauga Dam is just east of downtown Chattanooga at the river's confluence with North Chickamauga Creek. The reservoir stretches for 59 miles (95 km) from Chickamauga Dam to the base of Watts Bar Dam, and includes parts of Hamilton, Bradley, McMinn, Polk, Rhea, and Meigs counties.
I am compelled to create. My artwork is a mirror of my passion for color and composition. Each image is a reflection of my eye for the moment and feeling of the scene that surrounds me. If you are a local Chattanooga resident or in the area, you can see my artwork at the Chattanooga Market every Sunday, from April to December. I also have a studio that you can visit by appointment. All my locally sold artwork is created and printed by me. Each piece is crafted with the utmost attention to detail.
