Mallards are beautiful ducks. One of my favorites. Even the patterned detail of the female drake is beautiful. If you read my bio (I forgive you if you didn't, lol) then you might understand why this image is important to me. It was created from about 16 different photos that I had taken in the course of two months. It is a pivotal digital illustration to me because it blends my desire for conceptual work with the realism of traditional photography.
